Week 8 - Dreamweaver with ASP & PHP

Hello Prof Zaidatun and frends...

This week, we already start using dreamweaver software to develop dynamic website. Dynamic website means there are data that we can manipulate such as insert, view, update and delete... normally we used two type technology @ language to develop this kind of web.... the first one is ASP and another one is PHP.

ASP also known as Active Server Pages comes along with microsoft windows and normally used IIS or PWS(old version) of server. and PHP normally used APACHE web server to support their language. Interactive web also need to support with database technology.... There are many databse in the market that can be used with ASP and PHP.. but normally user used ASP with Microsoft access or Microsoft SQL Server databse while PHP normally used MySQL databse... The development of this two language is very fun and enjoy.. the most inportant this is that we need to understand first the language and also the passion to develope the interactive website...

Assigment 1 - Group Courseware Design

Alhamdulillah... at last siap jugak assigment 1 group kami.. nie...

This one the intro...



Actually we didn't know that we need to do some montage in the beginning of this courseware. that why the intro is the last part that been discuss among us...

1. This intro only takes about 14-15 second....
2. Most of the movement was created using mask in the layer.. we used almost 26 layer to create this intro..
3. but only used i scene
4. Mask function is very important to create any motion... but still need some creativity
5. especially shape of the arrow was design few with image and we call it / convert back using 
6. beside that we also used three button/images that convert into button... then what we need to do is to repeat the motion few time.... 
7. same goes to the molecul.. we just converted the image into movie then repeat the motion
8. The last thing we have three button... one to enter to courseware, another one to repeat the intro and the last one to exit from the courseware and go to our group profile...

The idea is the hardest part to design this task.. almost one week we discuss what we need to put on our courseware... but at last this assignment was completed just on time...

1. The Design of this project was discuss among us the we used the frame concept to move every background... we also used sound that download from the internet to make more presentable...
2. Every menu we converted every image to button and made the motion and add some sound once the user click or rollover the menu.
3. The design of this project will be used on every scene of our courseware.
4. The same concept in number 2 we apply to all menu, add some motion and sound
5. There are also sound image on the main menu that can be used to stop the sound
6. some motion of text was create using mask and masked function.
